Why I'm Running

I am running for the Tennessee Republican State Executive Committee because I believe strong conservative leadership begins at the grassroots level. Our Party must remain focused on electing Republican candidates, defending our conservative values, supporting our local county parties, and strengthening Republican leadership across Tennessee.

The State Executive Committee plays a vital role in guiding the Tennessee Republican Party, helping organize our counties and districts, supporting Republican candidates, and ensuring our Party remains strong, united, and effective. SEC members serve as the connection between local Republicans and state leadership, helping communicate concerns, recruit candidates, and advance Republican principles.

I believe leadership means service, accountability, and showing up for the people you represent. I am committed to being active in local Republican affairs, attending meetings and events across the district, and working hard to ensure your voice is heard at the state level.

Together, we can continue building a stronger Republican Party and a stronger Tennessee.

What is the Tennessee Republican State Executive Committee?

The Tennessee Republican Party works to elect Republican candidates, strengthen conservative leadership, support local party organizations, and advance Republican values across the state.

The State Executive Committee (SEC) serves as the governing body of the Tennessee Republican Party. The SEC helps guide the direction of the Party, supports county Republican organizations, and works to grow Republican success at every level of government throughout Tennessee.

SEC members act as a vital link between local Republicans and state party leadership. They help keep county parties organized, support Republican candidates, communicate important updates, and stay actively involved in Republican events and grassroots efforts within their districts. Each of Tennessee’s 33 State Senate districts elects one Republican man and one Republican woman to serve a four-year term on the SEC.

To qualify for the position, candidates must be bona fide Republicans, registered voters within their Senate district, and active participants in recent Republican primaries.

The SEC also upholds the integrity of Republican primary elections by following strict neutrality rules that prohibit party leadership and county parties from endorsing candidates in contested Republican primaries, except in limited situations outlined by party bylaws.

As Tennessee continues to grow, the SEC plays an important role in building a stronger Republican Party, supporting conservative leadership, and ensuring local voices are represented at the state level.
